I was looking forward to some Half Pints beers when visiting Winnipeg for the second time and this one didn’t disappoint. The name is very fitting for the current spring thaw as craters open un on the roads. It’s a dark ruby colour with a light tan head. A smooth blend of dark roasted flavours with a hint of treacle and enough hops to balance it out.
Very easy drinking beer considering it’s 7.9%. I’m pleased that I could only buy it at the Liquor Mart as a four pack because one just isn’t enough.
